At least 65 police recruits killed in Libya blast

At least 65 police trainees have been killed and more than 100 sustained serious injuries in a bomb attack at a police training center in Libya's Coastal city of Zliten.
The bomb attack is said to be one of the deadliest attacks since Islamic militants expanded their presence in the county after Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.

According to Libyan government sources the blast is said to have occurred after a truck containing explosives crushed into the Libyan interior ministry training camp which host up to 400 recruits.

The incident occurred while hundreds of recruits were outside performing their morning exercise.
According to BBC news, UN special representative to Libya Martin Koblar said the attack was an attempted suicide. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
