IEBC announce 2,878 job vacancies for voter registration officers

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) is set for the 2017 general election. In preparation for the same IEBC has announced 2,878 vacancies for voter registration officers.
The officers will be required to assist the commission register an additional 8 million voters to rise the number of voters to 22 million.
The exercise is set to start as from 15th February to 15th March 2016. The officers will be based at ward level.The candidates are required to send their applications to the registration elections coordinator (REC) at their nearest constituency offices not late than January 15.
